Our Single-Member Basic Formation Package takes care of all the heavy lifting so you can focus on building your company. Once you complete your order and it has been processed by our office, we'll begin the project with a 20 minute meeting with the attorney handling your matter, so you know what to expect and have an opportunity to ask your attorney any questions you may have about setting up your business. Next, we form your LLC, draft your operating agreement, obtain your EIN, take care of LLC publication requirements (NY State), file your organizing resolutions, and set up compliance tracking for annual/biennial statements. When your LLC has been formed, and we are ready for you to sign the organizing documents, you can schedule the final handoff meeting with your attorney to go over the final details. You pick how you want your corporate records: a physical binder, with a corporate ledger, and corporate seal, shipped to your door (+$150) or digital copies — your call. Price varies by state. They aren't lawyers, and they can't offer you legal advice as to what those documents should say, or whether the documents they have provided to you are appropriate for your situation. So they won't. What you get from them is an operating agreement that you could have gotten from the public library, and no guidance as to what it means. They aren't lawyers. They aren't a law firm.
